Marvel’s superhero flick Avengers: Endgame is officially the highest grossing film in the world, with its $2.79 billion having topped the $2.78 billion earned by James Cameron’s Avatar in 2009. About 30.6% of Endgame’s box office comes from the domestic market in the US while 69.4% comes from overseas territories including China where it has earned 70% more than its first installment Infinity War.
